Hi! This will be my fourth year leading the DVMS Boosters as President! Previously, I spent 2 years as the Assistant Treasurer.  I’ve been married to my husband Paul for 19 yrs and we have 4 amazing kiddos. One DVMS Spartan, Callen (7th), two at DHS, Kenzington (11th) and Nolan (9th), and one Ridgeview Fox, Carson (5th).  We also have a cuddly 5-year-old yellow lab named Wimburghley. I love meeting new people so if you see me, please introduce yourself! Looking forward to a great school year!

Hello!  I have been involved with the DVMS Boosters for 5 years on the Staff Appreciation committee and this will be my fourth year to serve as Vice President.  My husband Justin and I have been married for 22 years and we have a junior at DHS, Noelle, and a Spartan, Hudson, in 8th grade.  After a brief stint at Caterpillar before kids, I am now a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy photography, hiking & traveling in my free time.

Hi! My name is Kim Barnes and I'm excited to be the secretary for the DVMS Boosters. My husband Chris and I have 3 boys: Thomas will be a junior at DHS, Johnny will be a freshman, and James will be in 6th at DVMS. I've been a part of the DVMS Boosters for the past 5 years working on the Red Cross Drive along with other events. I attended Dunlap schools, ISU and taught middle school before my husband and I moved to England. After returning I subbed in Dunlap before becoming a stay-at-home mom. All our boys play baseball along with other activities and keep us busy! During the summer we love spending time in Wisconsin at our family cabin. I'm looking forward to meeting more DVMS families this year!

This is my 2nd tour volunteering as the Treasurer for the DVMS Booster Club.  My husband, Jeff, & I have 4 boys, a Senior (DHS), a Sophomore (DHS), 6th grader (DVMS), & 4th grader (DGS).  From 2002 through the end of 2008, I worked as a Design Engineer at Caterpillar.  In 2008 I left Caterpillar & became a stay-at-home mom.  In 2022 I reentered the workforce and started subbing at the Dunlap elementary schools.  During the summer I am the Head Swim Coach at Arrowhead Country Club, and during the school year I am the DHS Assistant Coach for the Girls and Boys Swimming & Diving Teams.  I also volunteer Coach the DGS Running Club.

You might also run into me if you come to vote, when I work as an Election Judge for the Peoria County Election Commission.  I serve as the Treasurer of the DHS Parents' Association & the President of the DGS Parents' Club.  Yes, I am that PTO Mom!

As a family we stay busy with our favorite activities: running/XC, swimming, obstacle races, orchestra, martial arts, chess, READING, hiking, camping, & traveling!  ​​
